CR-3D has added PC-ABS UL V-0, a flame-retardant polycarbonate and ABS blend for FFF printing, to its FlameX line. The material reaches UL 94 V-0 and keeps an impact strength of 43 kJ/m², close to the 45 kJ/m² of the company's standard PC-ABS. It targets housings, clips and frames that must survive knocks and meet a fire requirement.
CR-3D has presented PPS CF10, a polyphenylene sulfide filament with 10% carbon fibre. It stays dimensionally stable to 250 °C under ISO 75, meets UL 94 V-0 and resists many chemicals. It is the fourth and last material in the company's FlameX line and also belongs to the CarbX line.
CR-3D has presented PP GF25, a polypropylene filament with 25% glass fibre, in its FibCR line of glass-reinforced materials. At 1.07 g/cm³ it is the lightest glass-filled grade in the range, and it takes up almost no moisture. It targets parts that get wet, are cleaned with chemicals or are used outdoors.
