Formnext 2026 runs from 17 to 20 November in Frankfurt with a supporting programme of two stages, a new Defence Summit, the Formnext Awards and a standards summit ahead of the show. Finalists for the awards are announced and public voting is open. The programme gives buyers and engineers a map of where the industry is focusing: industrialisation, AI and automation, and defence.
The VDMA's autumn 2026 survey of German additive manufacturing companies shows a clearly better picture than a year ago. Companies reporting falling sales dropped from 29% to 15%, and 64% describe a positive development, up from 45%. The working group calls the situation more stable but does not speak of a trend reversal.
Formnext 2026 runs from 17 to 20 November in Frankfurt, with around 800 exhibitors expected. The organiser has compressed the show into Halls 11.0, 12.0 and 12.1 and adds a Defence Summit and a post-processing special exhibition. Formnext Awards finalists are named and public voting is open, while the early bird ticket rate runs until 22 October.
