LAIKA prints over 142,000 facial expressions for stop motion film Wildwood
LAIKA Studios used more than 142,000 3D printed facial expressions for the characters of its new stop motion feature film Wildwood, according to 3Dnatives. The printed faces are swapped frame by frame so the figures can show emotions such as sadness, fear or tenderness. The report gives only a teaser, so further production details are not yet known.
