Hopkinson, creator of High Speed Sintering, wins AMUG Innovators Award

The user group for additive manufacturing professionals, AMUG, has named Professor Neil Hopkinson as the recipient of its Innovators Award. Hopkinson invented High Speed Sintering and now advances the technology as Vice President of SAF Technology at Stratasys. The process belongs to polymer powder bed fusion: print heads deposit a liquid onto selected areas of the powder bed, replacing a laser that fuses each part.
